Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Human Resources Generalist to support our Human Resources department across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. As a key member of the HR team, you will support strategic planning initiatives, oversee HRIS systems, and facilitate workforce management processes to foster a positive and productive work environment. Duties

• Serve as first point of contact for HR questions and employee relations support
• Assist with coaching, documentation, and policy interpretation
• Maintain employee files, HRIS updates, and compliance records
• Support benefits questions, leaves of absence coordination, and workers' compensation communication
• Track trainings, certifications, and assist with performance documentation
• Assist with HR audits, investigations, and department projects
• Ensure HR practices align with federal and state laws (California preferred)

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Paylocity; experience with payroll processing is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Healthcare experience a plus; bilingual a plus
• Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; professional HR certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
