We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist and Scheduler to join our team This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with appointment management, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for clients, patients, or visitors. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to be the friendly face of our organization while supporting daily operations with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and dismiss visitors, clients, or patients warmly and professionally, and with a smile, creating a positive first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls appropriately using proper phone etiquette.
  • Schedule dental appointments to reach daily goals accurately using dental software.
  • Maintain organized records through data entry, filing, and digital document management using dental software.
  • Present treatment plans and financial arrangements, understanding and explaining patient dental benefits.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as proofing documents, managing correspondence, and supporting office management activities.
  • Assist with billing or bookkeeping tasks.
  • present a positive image of dental services to be rendered.
  • Be punctual and dependable.
  • Maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional manner.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as removing trash, sweeping or vacuuming, and tidying up restrooms and kitchen.
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Talk only positively of other team members and avoid drama.

Experience

  • Prior dental front office experience and knowledge of dental terminology is required.
  • Experience using dental software systems.
  • Proven clerical skills including data entry, filing, proofreading, and document organization.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 34 per week
