Lead Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a deep knowledge of beverage preparation and bar operations. As a Lead Bartender, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure high standards of service, and foster a welcoming environment for guests in both fine dining and nightclub settings. Your expertise in POS systems, food safety, and beverage sales will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the bar team to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cashiering, and sales tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Manage banquet bar operations during events or special occasions.
• Train and mentor junior staff on drink recipes, service standards, and safety protocols.
• Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining accountability for all transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout shifts.
• Assist in catering or food service functions as needed, ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Experience in dining, banquet, or food industry environments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
