Position Overview
- We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead business growth across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This position is responsible for identifying new project opportunities, driving sales growth, and developing client relationships to position Tate Metalworks as the preferred partner for field-erected API tank and ASME pressure vessel projects.
- The ideal candidate has experience in industrial construction projects and demonstrates the ability to build long-term client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve company growth goals and meet sales targets.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development through contract negotiation and close.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities with EPCs, general contractors, owners, technology/OEMs, and engineering firms.
- Track market trends and report customer feedback.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
- Collaborate with Tate's engineering, estimating, and project management team.
- Attend and exhibit at industry trade shows and conferences, and host lunch-and-learns to expand Tate's brand and network.
- Support strategic accounts and projects outside of the assigned territory as needed.
- Travel extensively (50–70%) across the assigned region.
- Document customer communication in CRM
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, Engineering, or construction management.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development or
