Development and Communications Manager

We're looking for a hands-on development professional who wants to strengthen our mission through events, communications, grants, and donor engagement.

About the Role:
The Director of Development & Communications manages key fundraising activities, donor communications, and development operations. This is a great role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution within a small, mission-driven nonprofit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute fundraising events (Turkey Trot, Party for a Purpose, Car Raffle)
• Produce newsletters, social media content, and donor communications
• Identify and steward new donors and event sponsors, while supporting the cultivation of current donors
• Maintain donor database and prepare development reports
• Track fundraising metrics and event ROI
• Assist with managing grant writing and reporting
• Support Board Development Committee activities
• Partner closely with the President & CEO on fundraising strategy

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of nonprofit development or communications experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience in fundraising events and donor communications
• Comfort working with data, reports, and donor databases
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong alignment with our mission and values

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $64,000.00 per year
