Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at a multifamily apartment community. This role is critical to maintaining unit quality, responding to service requests, and supporting ongoing unit turns and property improvements. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands urgency, and doesn't need to be babysat.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry
• Complete unit turns efficiently to prepare apartments for new move-ins
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and address issues proactively
• Assist with property upgrades and renovation projects as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
• Work with property management to prioritize repairs and minimize resident disruption
• Follow safety protocols and comply with local codes and regulations
• Be available for on-call or emergency maintenance as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily or residential maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and execute solutions
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
• EPA certification is a plus (not required)
• Professional attitude and respect for residents and team members

Pay: $ $20.67 per hour
