Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fedex Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to homes and businesses while ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will play a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service and efficient handling of products. Work week is 5 days a week. Always off Sundays and major holidays. Employees have rotating day off each week. Hours vary day to day but weekly average is 45-50 hours. Hours are employee driven. Door to door delivery, delivering FedEx packages following FedEx policies and Procedures. Completing proper inspection of vehicle Everyday.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles under Fedex guidelines.
• Load and unload products at the warehouse and delivery locations, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Clean driving record
• Adhere to all traffic laws and Fedex company policies while on the road.
• No felonies
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and be a self-starter
• Cleaning trucks and keeping equipment in order every day.

Skills

• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
• Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients during deliveries.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds plus
• Previous driving experience preferred but not required
• Capability to navigate routes effectively, utilizing GPS or maps as needed.
• Drive and work in any weather conditions
