Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. A strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with food safety and responsible food handling, is essential. The successful candidate will be a team player who thrives under pressure and demonstrates excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed while monitoring inventory levels.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff or event coordinators during catering or banquet events to meet guest needs seamlessly.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling, beverage service, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties when required.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments with a focus on beverage service.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management; retail math experience is a plus.
• Experience in fine dining or catering settings is desirable to deliver high-quality service in upscale environments.
