Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for innovative food preparation. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service are maintained across our establishment. The Executive Chef will play a vital role in menu development, inventory control, and maintaining a cohesive team environment focused on excellence in hospitality and cuisine.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the entire kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
  • Oversee menu planning, ensuring offerings meet quality standards and customer preferences while incorporating dietary considerations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
  • Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to deliver seamless event execution.
  • Oversee food production processes for fine dining, banquets, catering events, and regular restaurant service.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring excellent food service management and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement innovative culinary techniques while adhering to established recipes and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with management on budget planning and strategic initiatives to enhance overall restaurant performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management, kitchen management, or food service management, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience.
  • Strong background in culinary arts, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising culinary teams and managing staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and cost control strategies within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, shift management, and maintaining high standards of food safety.
  • Extensive experience in the food industry, especially in roles involving catering, restaurant experience, or hospitality services.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple departments such as dietary services or catering operations.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85, $100,000.00 per year
