Hotel Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Hotel Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. This role involves monitoring premises, managing security protocols, and responding effectively to various situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, conflict management abilities, and relevant experience in security or law enforcement. This is a paid position committed to maintaining a safe environment within our hotel facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee activity across the property
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical situations .
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures related to guest safety and loss prevention
• Manage access control by verifying guest identities
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management
• Assist guests with safety concerns and provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols
• Conduct investigations related to theft, vandalism, or other security breaches

Experience

• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Familiarity with security procedures, conflict resolution, and emergency response protocols
• Experience working in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus
