Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates should be comfortable with POS systems like Aloha and Micros, possess excellent time management skills, and have a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Previous experience in the food industry, retail math, or hospitality is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of service.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils in accordance with health standards.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Assist in setting up for special events or nightclubs, including serving at private parties or large gatherings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using excellent time management skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math proficiency is a plus.
• Experience with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies required.
• Familiarity with brewing processes or catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele confidently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $8.00 per hour
