Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensure that all ingredients are ready for cooking. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The cook will assist in meal preparation, menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Ensure that all food items are prepared according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and food processors.
• Help maintain inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is essential.
