Über

We're seeking a highly organized Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with 20+ years of experience for monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online (USING OUR QBO). This role is exclusively for individual professionals; firms or teams will not be considered.
Monthly Commitment:

Time: Approximately 4 hours/month.
Pay: $300/month.

Monthly Services & Scope:

QBO Bookkeeping: Monthly bank/credit card reconciliation and coding.
Invoicing: Prepare and email ~30–35 client invoices (online; ~80% fixed/repeat).
Payroll: Prepare ~15–16 pay entries (online; ~80% fixed/repeat). Payments are processed by the owner.
A/R Support: Monthly aging report and standard follow-up emails for overdue invoices.
Compliance: Support required filings (e.g., payroll remittances, WSIB, and HST) monthly.
Process: Online-only (no cheques).

Scheduling: Monthly windows:

Between the 23rd and the 25th.
Between the 5th and the 7th.

Year-End / Tax Services (Paid Separately):

Year-end filings: $500 (Corporate T2, T4s, and T4As for a straightforward file maintained monthly in QBO; complexity billed separately).
Personal tax returns (T1): $50 per return (simple return; complexity billed separately).
Must be licensed and in good standing to handle annual compliance.

Candidate Preferences:

Licensed CPA (individual) with 20+ years of experience.
Deep hands-on experience with QBO and payroll is mandatory.
We value accurate, first-pass work and a response time within 24 hours.
Best suited for someone part-time or semi-retired with stable monthly capacity.
