We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Entry-Level Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This is a remote, full-time position ideal for someone looking to begin their career in the construction industry. The Construction Project Coordinator will assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and communications among stakeholders, while learning the ins and outs of project management in the construction sector.

This position requires a strong willingness to learn, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team. While prior experience in construction is a plus, it is not required—training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Administrative Support:
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and maintenance of project schedules, timelines, and deadlines.
  • Support the creation and distribution of project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and scope-of-work documents.
  • Coordinate and maintain communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Help track and report project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are on schedule.
  • Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors needed for the project.
  • Help manage and track project budgets, ensuring expenses remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and change orders as needed.
  • Support compliance with safety regulations, local building codes, and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing project submittals for approval (e.g., material samples, change orders, RFIs).
  • Ensure that all necessary inspections and permits are obtained before and during the project.
  • Assist in preparing and sending out regular project updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Help coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and follow-up on action items.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to project teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage time effectively and stay on task in a remote environment.
