Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tig Welder to join our trailer manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, will be responsible for fabricating high-quality metal components and needs at least 3 years TIG experience. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

Duties

• Perform TIG welding on various metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Fabricate parts and assemblies using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
• Operate additional machinery such as press brake machines and forklifts as needed.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Skills

• Proficient in TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) as an additional skill.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with crane operation for handling heavy materials safely.
• Familiarity with using calipers for precise measurements during fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of operating press brake machines for bending metal components.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
