A construction services company is seeking an experienced and people-focused General Manager to lead a high-performing team and oversee market operations. This leadership role offers the opportunity to cultivate a culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

Role Overview

The General Manager will foster a supportive environment, drive business performance, and guide the team toward service excellence. This position requires a strong, authentic leader with a passion for employee development and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with entrepreneurial energy while aligning with established standards and procedures
• Collaborate with regional leadership on budget planning, staffing, and compliance
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members
• Ensure profitability and operational efficiency through expense and workflow management
• Monitor collections and uphold internal collection procedures
• Maintain accountability for financial outcomes across the assigned market
• Represent the company in community outreach and public relations
• Cultivate relationships with vendors, suppliers, and team members to support win-win outcomes
• Step into cross-functional roles as needed to support market demands
• Communicate company and market updates to team members
• Support new team member onboarding and ongoing professional development
• Ensure site safety through planning, communication, and audits
• Maintain fleet and property cleanliness and functionality
• Manage payroll submissions and accuracy

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction industry management with a focus on customer service and operations
• Proven ability to lead sales teams toward goal achievement
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Collaborative leadership style with a passion for team development
• Proactive and resourceful mindset with a high sense of urgency
• P&L experience with emphasis on profitable operations
• Military experience and Spanish language fluency are pluses
