Program Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Assistant to support the development, implementation, and management of community programs. Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing community programs focused on public health, addiction counseling, and social work initiatives.
• Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and supervision to ensure effective program delivery.
• Support program development through data collection, evaluation, and reporting to measure impact and improve services.
• Coordinate project activities, including scheduling events, workshops, and outreach efforts.
• Develop marketing strategies utilizing social media management to promote programs and increase community engagement.
• Facilitate public speaking engagements and presentations to raise awareness about program services.
• Oversee fundraising efforts by assisting with grant applications and donor outreach.
• Maintain administrative records, prepare reports, and handle correspondence related to program activities.
• Collaborate with team members on program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Transport participants to designated locations via a 15 passenger vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams, or program coordination.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Background in program development, project management, or social services such as addiction counseling or public health.
• Excellent organizational skills with experience in data collection and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of social media management for marketing purposes.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in recruiting or teaching roles preferred.
• Experience in fundraising activities or grant writing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
