EqualAccess is partnering with a highly regarded NYC real estate management firm known for its diverse mixed-use portfolio and commitment to exceptional resident and client service. The team takes a hands-on, collaborative approach to property operations and community management.

Position Summary

The Assistant Community Manager supports day-to-day operations across a mixed portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets. This role assists with resident relations, financial and administrative management, and vendor oversight—helping ensure buildings run smoothly, residents are satisfied, and ownership goals are achieved. It's an excellent growth path toward a lead management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily property operations, maintenance coordination, and vendor management.
  • Serve as a key contact for residents and commercial tenants; handle inquiries, renewals, and lease documentation.
  • Assist with budgeting, invoice processing, and monthly reporting.
  • Collaborate across Leasing, Compliance, and Accounting teams to ensure timely communication and accurate records.
  • Help oversee capital projects, inspections, and audits as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of residential property management experience, ideally within NYC.
  • Familiarity with rent-regulated and/or LIHTC properties a plus.
  • Proficient in Yardi or similar property management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000–$90,000 + Annual Bonus
