Role Description

This is a contract position for a QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Manager based on-site in Atlanta, GA. The QA/QC Manager will oversee quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include identifying areas for process improvement, maintaining documentation of quality checks, implementing quality control plans, and liaising with project managers and other key team members to ensure quality objectives are met. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards in construction projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Experience in documenting quality control processes, preparing reports, and implementing quality control plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes, with the ability to recognize deviations and suggest actionable solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Quality Management or Construction Standards are a plus.
• Previous experience in quality management within the construction industry is highly desirable.
