PetForward Urgent Care is growing, and we're excited to add a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant or Technician to our team As a locally owned, family-vet–aligned urgent care, we pride ourselves on exceptional client service, high-quality patient care, and a supportive team culture.

Because we are a newer and rapidly expanding practice, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to jump in wherever needed—whether assisting in exam rooms, answering phones, supporting the front desk, or helping with patient care and treatments. Every team member plays an important role in creating a smooth, reassuring experience for both pets and their families.

What You'll Do

• Provide excellent client service from the moment families walk through our doors
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, radiographs, labwork, and patient monitoring
• Help manage phone calls, check-in/check-out, estimates, and client communication
• Support a clean, efficient, and compassionate medical environment
• Participate in urgent care workflows, including triage and patient stabilization
• Assist with surgical cases when needed (surgical experience a bonus, but not required)
• Collaborate with a talented, experienced veterinary team and strong management group

Schedule

Shifts vary within our urgent care hours:

• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 9:30 PM
• Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

(Some evening and weekend availability is required.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced urgent care setting
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset
• Passion for helping pets and supporting their families
• Surgical experience is helpful but not required
