Required Education

Daily Duties & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Participate in a collaborative team of DPH staff, technical SMEs, and implementation partners to support server hosting and infrastructure initiatives.
- Assist with planning, design, installation, configuration, and migration of physical and virtual servers into a segmented architecture.
- Work closely with the Enterprise Computing Services Team Lead and Section Manager to prioritize tasks, schedule work, and meet implementation deadlines.
- Provide expert guidance on hardware configurations, system designs, and technology standards.
- Engage with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues during migration and system conversion.
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with agency standards.
- Support problem resolution, escalation, mitigation, and communication of issues to management.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify, remediate, and monitor vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory security frameworks.
- Implement access controls, security baselines, and audit logging consistent with CIS, NIST, HIPAA, CDC, and CJIS requirements.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex identity management, authentication, and access issues.
- Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts, including cloud-related initiatives.
- Document system configurations, technical procedures, implementation plans, and lifecycle roadmaps.
- Work flexible hours when required to support after-hours maintenance, migrations, or critical project deadlines.
