Job Description – Warehouse Employee Position Summary

The Warehouse Employee is responsible for ensuring accurate order fulfillment, efficient movement of goods, and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. This role supports inventory accuracy, daily warehouse operations, and SK Industrial's commitment to excellent customer service, organization, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment & Picking:

• Review and pick same-day orders accurately.

• Begin picking orders scheduled for the following day.

• Identify and pull backorder items eligible for UPS shipment.

• Assist with loading delivery vehicles.

Receiving & Inventory Processing:

• Receive UPS and inbound shipments daily between 8:30–10:30 AM.

• Match packing slips to delivered product and verify accuracy.

• Record shipping details (weight, ZIP code, dimensions).

• Enter ROG including shipping charges for accurate landed costs.

• Mark ROG entries completed or incomplete.

• File completed "Point Of Sale" weekly (Fridays).

Invoicing & Reporting:

• Print updated backorder reports.

• Perform Daily Receipt Register Update.

• Generate Backorder Fill Report

B/O Report & Shipping Preparation:

• Pull packing slips for items on B/O report.

• Verify scheduled orders for shipment.

• Prioritize UPS shipping slips.

• Pull orders for PDI–POS.

Warehouse Organization & Stocking:

• Stock incoming inventory promptly.

• Monitor UPS bin throughout the day.

• Apply UPS labels to pallet tickets and match to sales orders.

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse area.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow SK Industrial safety standards and PPE requirements.

• Maintain hazard-free aisles.

• Use proper lifting techniques.

• Report unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Preferred:

• Warehouse or logistics experience.

• Experience with UPS WorldShip, ROG systems, or ERP.

• Familiarity with industrial distribution.

Work Schedule

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Overtime may be required during peak periods.
