DEPENDABLE + PROFESSIONAL FULL TIME NANNY FOR 8 MONTH OLD BABY

Location: Franklin, TN 37069

Pets: Two dogs

This warm and dedicated family enjoys spending time together through simple daily routines like neighborhood walks and shared meals. As working parents, they are seeking a reliable and nurturing nanny to provide attentive, consistent care for their 8mo infant during the workweek.

Days will center around supporting age-appropriate development while maintaining a predictable and comfortable routine. The family is looking for a caregiver who approaches their role with professionalism, brings prior infant experience, and is able to remain engaged and present throughout the day

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM

Guaranteed hours: 40/week

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 1 year initially, with potential to extend

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain baby's daily routine, including naps, meals, and engaging playtime.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, screen-free activities such as reading, outdoor walks, sensory play, and movement activities.
• Prepare bottles and introduce baby foods.
• Keep baby's areas and common spaces tidy; wash bottles/dishes and clean up after daily activities.
• Respond to baby's needs with patience and gentleness, the child is generally easygoing and only fusses when hungry or tired.
• Engage with baby during wake times by talking, singing, and narrating the day.
• Communicate daily updates and important details with parents, but remain capable of handling day to day care + decisions without needing their input.
• Let the dogs in/out during the day.

The ideal fit will

• Have prior professional nanny experience with infants.
• Maintain clear professional boundaries and bring a focused, steady presence to the workday.
• Be patient and understanding.
• Avoid screen time (TV, tablet, phone) during baby's wake windows.
• Proactively tidy baby's spaces, wash bottles, and keep items organized.
• Plan crafts, sensory activities, and creative play, utilizing naps times (after a well-deserved break) to plan for the upcoming days/weeks.
• Be comfortable around dogs (they are not hypoallergenic breeds).
• Be okay with mostly staying home at first, with outings possible later on.
• Be comfortable with mom working a hybrid WFH schedule 1-2 days a week.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Minimum 2 years of baby experience (6+ months)
• Able to make a 1 year commitment
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

COMPENSATION

Hourly: $25 - $28/hr depending on qualifications

PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick days: offered
