After School Instructor for STEM program

Stemtree of Pinecrest is a K-12 STEM - Science and Engineering education center for After-school programs. We are currently looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals who enjoy working with kids to empower them for incredible success.

Facilitate hands-on activities, Math tutoring, Science and Electricity & Electronics experiments, to foster students learning and interest in STEM subjects.

If you're interested in teaching grades K-12, have a background in Science, Biology, Chemistry and love working with kids, this is a great opportunity to get on board. You will be provided with training on our curriculum, but knowledge of Sciencie and/or Mathematics is required.

Flexible hours and scheduling available. Our operations hours are from 2:00pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.

College students in related areas are the ideal profile for this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Prior teaching or internship experience in Science, Biology, Coding or Mathematics is valuable.

· Candidates must be comfortable teaching young kids and be open to learning unique teaching methods

· English is a must and Spanish is optional.

· Strong people skills

· Background check

· Fast learner

· Candidates must have their own transportation
