Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bartender Manager to lead our bar operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires proficiency in POS systems, excellent time management, and a solid background in food and beverage service, including fine dining, nightclub, banquet, and catering settings. The Bartender Manager will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Oversee bar operations during shifts, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of customer service by engaging with guests and addressing concerns promptly
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety and handling protocols are followed
- Train new staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, as well as food safety and responsible alcohol service
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, licensing laws, and company policies
- Handle cash handling duties accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Organize special events such as banquets or catering functions when required
- Promote a positive team environment to motivate staff and improve overall service quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality management, particularly in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Demonstrated sales ability with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- Background in food safety practices and responsible alcohol service
- Experience in serving food and beverages in high-volume environments such as nightclubs or catering events
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and transaction accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to lead a team with effective communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of brewing processes is a plus but not required
