The Role
Alcamo Marketing is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery across complex, multi-channel B2B marketing engagements. This is a fully remote, full-time (or contract-based) role focused on driving operational excellence through process standardization, workflow automation, and AI-enabled project oversight.
You will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, developing and scaling PM frameworks, and ensuring cross-functional execution across internal teams and contractors. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager with experience in marketing environments, a deep understanding of project burn and resourcing, and an obsession with clarity, timelines, and budget discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Oversight
- Lead project planning, milestone tracking, and on-time delivery across all client engagements.
- Maintain accurate visibility into budgets, burn rate, and resource allocation with ±5% accuracy.
- Flag risks early and implement escalation paths to keep initiatives on track.
- Ensure team delivery aligns to scope, budget, and timelines.
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as the operational heartbeat between strategy, creative, and delivery teams.
- Provide timely, executive-level updates on project status, budget, and blockers.
- Manage expectations with contractors, internal teams, and leadership.
- Maintain accountability for deliverables through structured check-ins and reporting.
Operational Infrastructure & Automation
- Develop and refine scalable project management processes, templates, and documentation.
- Lead implementation of ClickUp as a single source of truth for task management and timeline tracking.
- Collaborate on AI-powered automation strategies to reduce manual tasks and improve execution speed.
Process Optimization & Innovation
- Conduct quarterly audits of project workflows to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
- Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Develop and launch at least 2 new standardized templates, automations, or workflows per quarter.
Success Metrics
- 95%+ of projects delivered on time.
- Budget variance within ±5% across all active engagements.
- 85%+ forecasting accuracy on burn rate and resource planning.
- 100% of projects tracked and managed via ClickUp.
- Real-time executive reporting and risk flagging through automated dashboards.
- 20%+ increase in team efficiency via automation and process enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional marketing projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources with precision.
- Strong familiarity with ClickUp or similar tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, ).
- Deep understanding of scope management, SOW alignment, and resourcing principles.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement and implement scalable frameworks.
- Excellent communicator with executive presence and cross-functional leadership skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in B2B marketing, ABM, or agency environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/automation tools for project tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with financial forecasting, time tracking, and resource modeling tools.
- Passion for optimization, automation, and memes that make a point.
