Implement Now is a Nashville-based global production and creative agency that partners with top brands to bring products to life. We design and produce custom products across apparel, accessories, home goods, hard-goods, packaging, and branded merchandise.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Technical Designer to join our Design Department. This role is essential in translating creative concepts into production-ready products, ensuring technical accuracy, manufacturability, and quality across multiple product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update detailed tech packs including construction, BOM, measurements, trims, and artwork.
- Ensure accuracy, version control, and timely updates of all spec packages and BOMs.
- Translate sketches and concepts into clear, production-ready technical documentation.
- Build graded specs and measurement charts for apparel and multi-category products.
- Lead fit sessions, document feedback, and recommend construction improvements.
- Identify construction, measurement, or quality issues and provide actionable solutions.
- Review prototypes, pre-production, and TOP samples and communicate feedback to vendors.
- Compile inspection reports and ensure findings are clearly documented.
- Collaborate with Design, Sourcing, Production, and Project Management teams.
- Track and organize samples across multiple vendors and clients.
- Support workflow improvements and maintain organized technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2–4+ years of experience as a Technical Designer, Apparel Product Developer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and multi-category product development
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Experience communicating directly with overseas factories
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in apparel, promotional products, branded merchandise, or hard goods development
- Familiarity with PLM or product lifecycle systems
- Strong aesthetic eye paired with analytical problem-solving skills
