Physical Therapist

About the Role:
The Palace Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our compassionate rehab team. This role is specifically for holiday coverage, with the potential for additional per diem opportunities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Help residents regain mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Document treatment sessions, progress, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure positive outcomes.
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey PT or PTA license in good standing.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or subacute setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Schedule:

• Status: PRN (as needed)
• Focus: Holiday coverage
• May include occasional weekends depending on facility needs.
