Job Summary
The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. This position involves assisting with inventory control, managing staff, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail, with the ability to motivate team members and enhance store productivity.

Duties

  • Assist in managing store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
  • Support the Store Manager in training, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve sales goals.
  • Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Analyze sales data and assist in budgeting to optimize store performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional strategies and merchandising initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects brand standards.
  • Participate in negotiations with vendors for inventory purchases as needed.

Skills

  • Proficient in math for budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control practices.
  • Experience in retail sales management with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Ability to buy effectively while maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to work with suppliers and vendors.
  • Familiarity with wireless sales is a plus, enhancing product knowledge for customer engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
