Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full Time Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development in infants.
- Provide attentive, loving care that meets each infant's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Monitor and document developmental milestones, behavior patterns, and progress to inform ongoing lesson planning and parent communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design activities that support early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Maintain open, positive communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental progress.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a warm atmosphere conducive to learning and emotional security.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in a childcare or early childhood education setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development focused on literacy education, physical education for young children, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies while ensuring safety at all times.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is a plus.
- Experience with classroom management tools, lesson planning software, or other educational resources preferred.
- Certification in child welfare or first aid/CPR is advantageous but not mandatory.
