Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Technician Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. We are also needing this candidate to possibly fill in as a technician assistant from time to time. We are willing to train the right person for the technician assistant duties. Rate of pay depends on candidate's experience.

Duties

• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pet care, and clinic policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
• Process payments and manage medical collections with professionalism.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Technician assistant duties will include some restraining of patients and ability to assist in moving patients.

Qualifications

• Previous or animal care setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
