Assistant Teacher/Floater

Pebbles Preschool and Kindergarten, a ministry of The Rock Church in Sparks, Nevada, is looking for a Floater/Assistant. Training will be provided. Weekly schedule is Monday through Friday with varying schedules. Age group you will be working with will vary depending on the needs of the Center. This position requires offering classroom support and assistance to teachers, assistant teachers, staff, etc.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to meet the required qualifications for care givers including fingerprinting and background check through the State of Nevada. Background Check and Negative TB test required for employment.

We are looking for applicants that love working with children and families. Applicants are preferred to have previous experience in a classroom and are confident in their teaching style and skills. However, experience is not required as long as you are enthusiastic and excited about shaping and influencing children's lives

The right applicant will be well organized, energetic, have a good attitude, dependable, and able to multi-task. Punctuality, attendance, and consistency are essential to being successful in this position.

Salary is competitive and based upon prior experience and education. Center hours are 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional weeknights/weekends may be required time to time.
