Server Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a unique fine dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will support the front-of-house staff by ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience and requires a strong commitment to hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests have finished their meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
• Help with food and beverage preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Support the team during busy shifts by anticipating needs and providing assistance where necessary, including bar needs such as inventory, garnish preparation, ice, and glassware cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests.
• Ensure all utensils, glassware, and plates are clean and ready for use.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, bar, and culinary techniques is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience with New Restaurant Openings is a plus
