Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our commercial construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of carpentry, construction, and renovation projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with diverse materials and techniques, contributing directly to the success of our projects.

Duties

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding, and roofing tasks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install building components according to schematics and blueprints.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute project plans.
• Conduct metal stud and wood framing as needed for various projects.
• Install commercial doors and hardware.
• Maintain a clean job site by organizing materials and tools while adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met while upholding quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry), masonry or remodeling projects.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, man lift operation.
• Knowledge of roofing systems, siding installation, commercial doors and hardware, drywall finishing and fixture installation.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols along with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
