Combo Auto Body Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Combo Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced automotive repair professionals to work on a variety of vehicle repair projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship .

Hours are flexible

Experience in Cars, Light Trucks, Heavy Trucks, Wreckers and Equipment-Any or all

No insurance work

From small to large projects

Duties

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work
• Conduct auto painting using paint spraying techniques and touch-up work
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for precise repairs and assembly tasks
• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and basic mechanical repairs as needed
• Assist with restoration projects, including fabrication and assembly of custom parts
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto body repair
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and auto painting techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment
• Experience with sheet metal work, and auto restoration projects is desirable
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred; relevant certifications or ASE credentials are a plus
