The Procurement Administrator supports the buildings team by coordinating procurement-related administrative activities during the proposal, design development, and early project phases. Working closely with the wider Proposal and Estimating teams to ensure procurement documentation, vendor information, and tracking tools are accurate, complete, and aligned with pursuit and project timelines.
***This position is an office-based role in Mississauga, Ontario. Occasional travel to Ottawa, optional.What You Will Be Working On

Document control and management in support of the estimating and proposals functions, including;

  • Assist the Proposal function through the RFP/RFQ wider pursuit submissions.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to procurement-related activities across the team
  • Maintain our internal database logging market opportunities, live documents, submitted bid data and post award feedback.
  • Act as a coordination point for administrative follow-ups between internal teams.
  • Ensure procurement activities follow Bird policies, procedures, and approval thresholds
  • Support standardization of procurement templates, trackers, and documentation
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of team and business objectives
What We Are Looking For
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a procurement, administrative, or coordinator role (construction, engineering, or professional services environment preferred)
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in deadline-driven environments
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience working with construction software is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
