Über
We are hiring a Quality Control Specialist for one of our clients in Markham in the food industry. You will be required to work on the line for assuring quality control.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product or service quality meets internal standards and customer expectations.
Identify, document, and track quality issues or defects.
Collaborate with production, development, or operations teams to resolve quality -related issues.
Maintain accurate QC documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, etc., if applicable).
Recommend improvements to existing QC processes and procedures.
Participate in audits and support internal/external assessments.
Requirements Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Previous experience in a quality assurance role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem -solving skills.
Familiarity with QA tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
