Uarmed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. This role is ideal for dependable, adaptable individuals who take pride in maintaining safe environments and can respond confidently to a variety of assignments.

This position requires availability for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) in Daly City, with potential additional flex hours in Daly City and San Francisco during the week as they become available. Only applicants who can commit to working weekends will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety, enforce policies, and prevent loss or theft.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and first aid procedures when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate.
• Support emergency response protocols by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and the public.
• Support multiple sites based on scheduling needs and operational priorities.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety standards with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Active California Security Guard Card (REQUIRED).
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to assignments.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain alert and calm under pressure while effectively managing conflicts or emergencies.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
