Service Advisor

We are looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to our service team at My Lakeshore Subaru. My Lakeshore Subaru is the largest Subaru dealership in the state of Michigan. We moved into our brand new, state-of-the-art facility within the past year, and are continually working to provide the best possible service for our customers. We offer an aggressive pay plan and the most flexible schedule in the industry. The ideal candidate would have experience in customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer customer calls and establish follow-up with service appointments
• Utilize service scheduling system to manage team workload
• Respond quickly to the internet, phone, and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates
• Follow up with customers regarding recalls
• Participate in team and process development sessions
• Keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management
• Utilize CRM tracking system daily

Qualifications:

• Strong automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and service writing
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Familiarity with auto estimating and automotive repair
• Previous dealership experience and auto service management preferred
• Relevant skills in transmissions, oil changes, and brake repair
• Ability to work with various vehicle systems including diesel engines and suspensions
