Description:

Delivery drivers make local-area deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers and suppliers. Drivers complete job duties by preparing, loading, unloading, operating and cleaning a truck; maintaining records; and helping to develop sales.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Essential Job Functions:

• Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards
• Load all order fulfillment materials onto truck for delivery and unload at delivery.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle and communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor.
• Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner.
• Ability to load and unload trucks
• Accurately count boxes, coils, reels, and lifts of pipe
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Read maps and comprehend, read, and communicate in English
• Clean driving record and criminal background required

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions include sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

• Lift heavy boxes (70lbs or greater)
