Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, POS systems, and restaurant management. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and service while managing staff, inventory, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service delivery.
  • Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Control inventory levels, monitor food production, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
  • Supervise shift management to ensure smooth service during all operating hours in casual dining or quick-service environments.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate catering, banquet services, or bar operations as needed to enhance overall restaurant offerings.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment with a strong background in food industry operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability in staff training, supervision, and team development within hospitality or restaurant settings.
  • Background in managing inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance.
  • Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments with responsibilities including shift management and customer service excellence.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $120,000.00 per year
