HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system designs.
• Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with property management teams to address HVAC-related concerns promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs.
• Assist in the design of new HVAC installations as needed.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems and their components.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in appliance repair is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on equipment repair.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
• Knowledge of property maintenance practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
