Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth hotel operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience in hotel management or hospitality settings. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse guest demographic. The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding guest services throughout their stay
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure resolution
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest safety, security, and confidentiality
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly processed

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse guests seamlessly
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if needed
  • Familiarity with guest relations principles and resort operations is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently
