HVAC Technician

Job Description:

• HVAC Technician is responsible for conducting maintenance checks and repairs for air-conditioners and other cooling or heating systems for All Aboard Properties locations in Volusia County.
• We have a work order system, Yardi, that lists off any issues or services that need to be performed on the AC units. The employees working at our storage locations and commercial properties will add a work order into Yardi whenever there is an issue with an AC unit. The HVAC Tech is responsible for prioritizing and completing the work orders in a timely manner.
• The HVAC Tech is also responsible for logging general services that are performed on the equipment and when the next service date will be.

Basic Tasks:

• Perform monthly maintenance checks for HVAC system
• Install HVAC Systems as needed
• Evaluate and repair damaged and dysfunctional HVAC systems
• Fix and check package type and Split type (depending on experience)
• Change spare parts
• Check the major parts (i.e. Freon)
• Conduct daily routine for inspections
• Check leakage

Education and Training Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of at least 2 year vocational course in air-conditioning and cooling
• Must have at least 2 year experience as an HVAC Technician at a commercial/residental property
• EPA Universal - required
• HVAC Certification

Skills and Competency Requirements:

• Must have wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of air-conditioners and cooling, heating systems
• Must have knowledge in troubleshooting
• Ability to detect damages and malfunctions
• Must have wide knowledge in backage and Split type for installation of air-conditioners and coolers
• Know how to change spare parts
• Must have good communication skills and be a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour (If extensive experience in the HVAC role, then the pay can be raises)
