Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as MenuSifu ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment
• Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high-quality service

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; Japanese/Sushi restaurant
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation practices
• Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
