We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk for our busy warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is essential to our logistics network, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will play a vital part in maintaining inventory integrity and facilitating the smooth flow of products into our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Accurately record received items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Label and stage received inventory for put-away or further processing.
- Communicate any shipping discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move incoming materials.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inspection.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with WMS is a plus.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear provided PPE.
