This position is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will be instrumental in managing stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing procedures to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise inventory records utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct routine cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee the flow of goods from receipt to shipment, ensuring accuracy at each stage.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure efficient storage and organization of inventory to maximize space and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Champion safety by adhering to all guidelines and ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
