Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of warehouse duties including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts after certification.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and system updates.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and protocols, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Participate in regular **safety** training and promote a **safety**-first culture.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Understand and apply safe **lifting** techniques for manual handling.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our **logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics**, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of **safety** procedures and willingness to follow all **PPE** requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
