We are looking for a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our growing logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your tasks will include locating products in the warehouse, verifying quantities and item numbers, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. A commitment to accuracy and efficiency is vital, as you will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Package products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all company guidelines.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform manual lifting tasks, with an average lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds.
- Support inventory management through participation in cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets in our logistics operations.
This position requires good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus. We offer comprehensive training and are dedicated to providing a safe and productive workplace.
