We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This vital role ensures the efficient and accurate flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking received items, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment is a top priority, and adherence to all Safety regulations is mandatory. This position requires individuals who are physically capable of performing tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and regularly Lifting items up to 50 pounds. Experience with warehouse management systems and a solid understanding of Logistics processes are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods.
- Verify shipment contents against documentation.
- Stock received items in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE .
